Shades Of Love
Shades of love:-
Love is a very simple word. It
comes very casually to human heart and is a natural mundane emotion. Love
wasn’t discovered or invented like fire or any medicine ; it existed inside
human hearts even before they realised. It is passed on from mother to child
and so on very naturally.
Every other relation on this
earth and probably beyond, exhibits a force of attraction towards each other
very naturally. It encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and
mental states, an interpersonal affection. Love towards one’s child is in every
way different from love towards one’s spouse. Love is an unannounced affection
or rather emotion that doesn’t have to take account of anyone’s age or gender .
Ancient Greek Philosophers
identified six forms of love: essentially Starge, Philia, Eros, Philsutia,
Xenia, Agape.
Love is a relative term . For
some, all it could mean is the feeling of closeness , connectedness, and
bondedness in loving relationships. For some it could be the beauty of the
little things whereas for some other it could be nothing but physical intimacy.
Love can take one to any extent. And hence love of any form is superiorly pure
and blissful.
At times people forget the basic
factor of love and get more focussed on the legacy, the known unannounced laws.
A girl should necessarily marry a boy and vice versa. In a legal marriage , socially
it is expected that the bride should be younger than the groom. The laws of
nature which got no scientific basis are blindly followed; whereas love is
meant to be blind, and not us.
Winged Cupid is painted blind as
a symbol that love doesn’t depend on how we look or where we belong to; instead,
it is a divine connection of the souls of two individuals. Souls don’t have a voice
or gender. A soul is defined by it’s way
of approach rather than how long it’s hair is , and the level of masculinity in
it.
Homophobia is no less than a
deadly infection these days. Homosexual people trying to live a normal life but
are in every way subsided by the so called “Normal Section” of the society.
Homosexual marriages are not granted a good position even in today’s world
where marriage is a mere luxury as living in with your partner is more relevant
. If “general” people do not need any approval or validation from the society
to live together why do homosexual people need too much of approval from the
people around them to do what they want to. This is also very much a form of
love .Just because the gender of the person is same doesn’t mean that love traverses
down in any form.
Sometimes we find love in people
with whom we have no blood connection but they make up a very important part of
our lives. These connections got no name . It can be between any two persons .
It can be between a girl and a boy or two girls or two boys or even between
someone aged and someone young. Not connected by blood connection but connected
by hearts is a form of connection too ;Sometimes deeper than blood relations.
Recent years have seen the
increase in love for animals of humans. This is a very affectionate form of
love . Whereas there are people enough in this world to prove why the innocent
animals are not meant for this cruel world ,there are other people who can
donate their lives for their pet’s cause. They practically treat it like any
other human being, Catching up the doctor when it’s unwell, and crying and
being helluva depressed when an animal passes away.
Love as a concept as previously
mentioned is subject to change pertaining to the definition assigned by the
people concerned. It does have different shades and every shade or form of it
is equally relevant and equally pure and holy.
Thus I would like to conclude on
this note that “Love no matter of which form should be accepted with equal
priority and equal respect “
“True love is a liberating
force.”

Romeo and Juliet]
